Mr. Gary Lee Hauser, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his home. He was born in Forsyth County, NC on June 28, 1944 to the late Rufus S. & Martha Ozelma Nelson Hauser.

Gary was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lumberton, NC. He loved gardening and visiting local rest homes with his therapy dog.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Hauser; his daughter, Gay Lynn Hauser Morris; his brothers, Ray Nelson and Harold Wayne Hauser; and his sister, Martha Whitaker.

He is survived by his wife, Juliana T. Hauser of the home; his daughter, Angela Renee Webster of Danbury, NC; his stepchildren: Samuel Weathers Gaines, Christy Suzanne Gaines, and Catherine Lyn Gaines, all of Lumberton, NC; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Shirley Grier (Jerry) of San Jose, CA.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1202 N. Chestnut Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.
