Mr. Garry Lee Britt, age 67, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was born in Robeson County, NC on September 24, 1952 to the late Edison Britt and the late Myrtle Lee Britt. He was a painter for Mueller Steam. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Tar Heels and Dodgers fan.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Britt, and a brother, Edison Britt, Jr.

He is survived by his children: Tonya Long (Chris) of Bladenboro, NC and Garry Lee Britt II (Farrah) of the home; four grandchildren: Cody Long and Amber Long, both of Bladenboro, NC, and John Britt and Hannah Britt, both of the home; a step-granddaughter, Kylie Britt of the home; two brothers, Donald "Duck" Britt (Jewel) of Orrum, NC and Kenny Britt (Angie) of Lumberton, NC; his mother-in-law, Judy Barnes Miller of Lumberton, NC; and three sisters-in-law: Vicky Talton (Johnny), Jan Lee (Tommy), both of Lumberton, NC, and Donna Barnes of Sumter, SC.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Following the service, the family will visit with friends at the graveside.
