Mrs. Gail Dudney, age 67, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 16, 1959, to the late, Martha Prevatte, and Steve and Glenda Hardin.

Gail was known for her saying, “I Love Everybody.” Gail loved going to church, gospel singings, and she loved going to revivals as her health permitted. She also loved her family very much. To know Gail, was to love Gail.

Gail is survived by her; husband of 45 years, Eddie Dudney; daughter, Melissa Hall (Wade), and Amanda Baxley (Keith); brothers, Steve Hardin (Becky), Anthony Hardin (Dawn), Waylon Hardin (Kim), Buster Norris (Susan); sisters, Jenny Hardin and Sherry Norris; grandchildren, Whitney Hall, Emily Hall, and Adam Baxley; great grandchild, Alivia Grantham; Grandpups, Chloe Hall, and Gracie Baxley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street Lumberton, NC 28358. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc 809 E. 5th Street Lumberton, NC 28358.
