Gail Bruce, age 61, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born November 5, 1956 in Robeson County to James Worth Pittman and Evelyn Campbell Ammons.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Worth Pittman, and her brother, Forest Pittman.

Gail is survived by her mother, Evelyn Campbell Ammons of Lumberton; her husband, Johnny Bruce of the home; her children: James Austin Bruce and wife Brittany of Lumberton and Wendy Britt and husband Jamie of Lumberton; two grandchildren: Haven and A.J.; and one sister, Nancy Dudney and husband Perry of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Sunday, May 27, 2018, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Sandhill Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tim Tyner and Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
