Mr. Furland Oxendine, age 67, of Fairmont, NC passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton NC. He was born January 10, 1956 in Robeson County to the late James Oxendine and the late Loretta Jones Wynne.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edmond Oxendine, and a granddaughter, Savannah Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of twenty-three years, Rose Oxendine of the home; three daughters, Celeste Lewis (Joshua Hunt) of the home, Misty Oxendine of Fairmont, NC, and Crystal Oxendine of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Tommy Oxendine of Fairmont, NC and David Oxendine of Lumberton NC; three sisters, Rose Oxendine of  Indianapolis, IN, Susan Colon (Miguel Colon II), of Lumberton, NC, and Pam Wynne of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren, Ayzin Hunt ("Junior") of the home, Braylon Hunt ("Cole Train"), Karla Jacobs ("Little Mama"), Christopher Oxendine, and LaChaya Moore; a special niece, Gabrielle Colon; special friends, Cale and Amy Lowery; and a great host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC, with Revs. Hilton Woodell and Doug Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery 3047 McDonald Rd. Fairmont, NC.
