Fredrick Roger McDole, Sr., age 66, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in
Indianola, IA on August 22, 1944 to the late Robert Martin McDole and Winifred Smith McDole.

He was a Member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Antioch Baptist Church, a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipiant. He worked in the Health Care financial profession.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glen McDole.

Mr. McDole is survived by his wife, Jeanne Osler McDole and a son Fred McDole, Jr. both of the home; a daughter, Tonya McDole Walls and husband Jonathan of Forest Hill, MD; three brothers, Donnie McDole of IA, Terry McDole of SC and Richard McDole of OR; two sisters Linda Parker of WA and Bobbie Elleson of OR; and two grandchildren, Karley Walls and Laura Walls.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Keith Eggert officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday prior to the service from 6:00-7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Antioch Baptist Church or Antioch Baptist Academy, 5089 Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC 28358.
