Frederick Luke "Rick" Musselwhite, Jr., age 57, of Lumberton, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Rick graduated from Lumberton High School and attended Appalachian State University.  He worked as a paramedic in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  After returning to Lumberton, he worked as a property manager for Musselwhite Enterprises.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Luke Musselwhite.

Rick is survived by his mother, Shelva Sechriest Musselwhite; his daughter, Sydney Musselwhite Kimrey (Andrew) of Huntsville, AL; his sister, Norris Musselwhite Grantham (Lee) of Lumberton and two nephews, John Grantham of Lumberton and Mac Grantham of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. John Muse officiating.
