Freddie Marcus
Fulmore
Mar 31, 1936 — Sep 14, 2020
Fairmont
Freddie Marcus Fulmore, died peacefully on September 14 at age 84, after a long illness. Freddie was born on March 31,1936 in Fairmont, N.C. to the late Woodrow and Fannie McCollum-Fulmore. He was the oldest child of eleven children and was a "father figure" to the rest of his siblings.
Freddie Marcus Fulmore was a hard worker. He worked from farming to public work, specializing in maintenance and after retiring from Lowes Home Improvement, continued to do landscaping and metal recycling.
He dressed well for social gatherings and most importantly, his spiritual activities.
Freddie loved to groom horses, enjoyed Nascar racing and visiting friends, especially Thomas Wayne Leggett, who was like a younger brother to him.
A turning point in his life was becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1994 when he dedicated his life and symbolized it by water baptism. Just as the apostle Paul, he didn't mind expressing what kind of person he used to be in the world and thankfully the person he was as a result of following Bible principles as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Woodrow and Fannie McCollum Fulmore, his sister, Shirley Fulmore and five brothers, Robert Fulmore, Gene Fulmore, Claude Fulmore, John Fulmore and Jerry Fulmore.
Freddie Marcus Fulmore leads to cherish his memories, his wife of 19 years, Mary Elizabeth Fulmore of Orrum, NC and two brothers, Jimmy Fulmore (Anna Fulmore) of Orrum NC, Lance Wilton Fulmore (Willie Mae), and two sisters, Vivian Fulmore Taylor, and Louise Reaves, all of Fairmont, N.C.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26,2020 via Zoom at 3:00PM.
