Mr. Franklin Jones, Sr. age 66 of Mullins, SC and formerly of Fairmont, passed away Sunday June 30, 2013 at his home, 1736 Millers Rd. Mullins, SC. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born October 2, 1946 in Robeson County to the late Rodney Jones and Mildred J. Jones. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Jones and special loved one Flora Carter. He is survived by four sons, Franklin Jones, Jr. of Mullins SC, Jeffery Jones and Kenny Collins both of Marion, SC and Eric Jones of Hartsville, SC; two daughters, Danielle Carter and Michelle Carter both of Mullins, SC; four brothers, Billy Jones and Terry Jones, both of Lexington KY, Robert Jones of Mullins, SC and David Jones of Greensboro, NC; three sisters, Betty Jones and Josephine Collins, both of Marion, SC and Peggy Coleman of Fork, SC; 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
