Mr. Franklin Lee Eachen, age 54, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, while on vacation in Puerto Plata, DR. He was born in Richmond, VA on April 21, 1969.

Franklin was an avid outdoorsman, who loved camping, fishing, and hunting. As life would have it, he passed away doing what he loved – adventuring on a cruise.

Franklin is survived by his parents, Frank & Patricia Eachen of Lumberton, NC; his sister, Lisa Pierce and husband Robbie of Lumberton, NC; his brother, Daniel Eachen of Nichols, SC; two nieces, Samantha Pierce and Kassie Pierce; his nephew, Brandon Pierce;  his great-nephew and great-niece, Averian Pierce and Ta'lyiah Wright; two cousins, Toby Langston and Buster Langston of Pikeville, NC; a very special friend, Robert Young; as well as very many close friends and co-workers he met along the way. He was loved by so many on this Earth who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Holden officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
