Mr. Franklin Rudolph Cook, age 81, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20,2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Bishop Charles Dudley and Rev. Russell Kinlaw, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evans Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born August 24, 1934 in Dillon, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Bruce Morgan Cook.

He is survived by his wife Lorine Edwards Cook of the home; one son, Tommy Cook and wife Patricia of Lumberton; two daughters, Ann Ransom of Lumberton and Wanda Evans and husband Joel of Fairmont; one sister, Gertrude Baxily of Lumber Bridge; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, ; and five great-great grandchildren.
