Mr. Frank George Mowrey, age 73, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019, at home. He was born on October 11, 1945, in Port Author, TX to the late Stephen Mowrey and the late Mildred Zehner Mowrey. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War and was formerly employed with the City of Columbus, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Hodge Mowrey of the home; three sons: Stephen Mowrey and wife Theresa of Leland, Jason Mowrey and wife Jenny of Franklin, IN, and Kevin Mowrey of California; one daughter, Kristen Mowrey of Kailua, HI; five grandchildren: Jovie Mowrey, Rowan Mowrey, Kainui Wong, Maikani Wong, and Steven Brewer; one brother, Stanley Mowrey of Aynor, SC; and one sister, Susan Mowrey of Odessa, FL.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 6:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carson Hilburn officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home.
