Dr. Frank B. McGrath, age 74, of Fayetteville, formerly of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at NC State Veterans Hospital of Fayetteville. He was born in Robeson County on September 8, 1939. He owned and operated a private dental practice in Lumberton from 1966-2003. He proudly served in the US Army Reserves for 27 years, where he was a colonel, a Dental Unit Commander from the years 1984-1987, and he was active duty during Operation Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Frank B. McGrath, Sr. and Lillian Odum McGrath. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debi B. McGrath, of the home, his daughter, Ginny Queen and husband, Doug, and their children, Evan, Connor, and Lauren, of Cary, NC, his sons, Tripp McGrath and wife, Megan, of Raleigh, and Chris Jackson and wife, Ruby, and their children, Matthew and Madison, of St. Pauls, his sister, Marilyn Bullaboy, of Winston-Salem, his brother, Malcolm McGrath and wife, Rita, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and his nieces, Kristin Conrad and Kim Reucassel.
