Frances Cutchin Sundy, age 91, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Stanley County, NC on May 26, 1918 to Josiah B. and Minnie Curran Cutchin.

Mrs. Sundy worked as an Assistant Administrator Officer for BB&T. She was a former President of American Legion Auxiliary, District President of American Legion Auxiliary, Chairperson of Girls State of NC State, former President of Rowland-Norment P.T.A., organized Robeson County Shrinette Club and was their first President.

She was preceded in death by her husband E.A. \\"Pete\\" Sundy.

Mrs. Sundy is survived by two sons, Edward A. Sundy, Jr. and wife, Page of Wilmington, NC and John C. Sundy and wife, Judy of Lumberton, NC; one daughter, Betty Jo Wilkens and husband, Robert of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Lucille C. Winton of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Dr. David Elks officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Tuesday morning, April 11, 2010 prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
