In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gold.

Mrs. Gold is survived by her two sons, Joseph Gold (Darlene) of Winston-Salem, NC and John Kendall Gold of Lumberton; two sisters, Bobbie Godfrey and Patricia Griffin, both of Franklinton, NC and two beloved granddaughters, Catherine Gold of Winston-Salem and Lindsay Oatis (Jeff) of Greenville, NC.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Herbert Lowry officiating. (All attending the services for Mrs. Gold are asked to wear a mask and to follow all current social distancing guidelines.)
