Mrs. Frances Lane Cameron, age 89, of Lumberton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Lumberton Rehab in Lumberton.  She was born March 13, 1928 in Robeson County to the late Lee Lane and the late Joanna Smith Lane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cameron; her brother, Paul Lane and her sister, Louise Hendren.

She is survived by her daughter, Gay Cameron Wilson (Billy) of Lumberton; one sister, Anna Spivey of Hertford, NC; two grandchildren, Lynn Wilson (Betsy) and Christopher Wilson (Whitney); three great-grandchildren, Will Wilson, Britt Wilson, Dylan Wilson; a special nephew, John Hendren (Linda) and several other nieces and nephews .

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00AM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. A time of visitation will be held following the service at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
