Mr. Forrest Wilkins, 67, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on April 19, 1955 to the late Earl and Eva Hammonds Wilkins. He worked as a painter for several years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Wilkins, and his sister, Angie Kennedy.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Joyce Jones of the home; his son, David Earl Wilkins of Lumberton, NC; his daughters: Amy Jones (Lee) of Lumberton, NC, Melissa Willoughby (Billy) of Lumber Bridge, NC, and Charlene Wilkins of Lumberton, NC; 8 grandchildren; his brothers: Charlie Wilkins (Lisa) of Bakersville, NC, and Robert Wilkins, Larry Wilkins (Beth), and Chalmers Wilkins, all of Lumberton, NC; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss him greatly.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
