Flora Etta Deese Honeycutt, age 90, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Sunday March 8, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on October 23, 1924 to the late Cecil Homer Deese and the late Daisy Amilda Vanderburg Deese. She was a homemaker. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Oren Honeycutt; three sisters; and one brother. She is survived by a son, Leonard Honeycutt of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Anthony Honeycutt (Kelly) and Matthew Honeycutt; and two great-grandchildren, William and Austin Honeycutt. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Brust and Rev. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery of Bethel Church Road.
