Mr. Fitzhugh Lee Willoughby, age 91, of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on November 18, 1920. He previously worked with the United States Postal Service and was a WWII Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Artie Willoughby.

Mr. Willoughby is survived by his wife, Lula Wilcox Willoughby of the home; two sons, Ralph S. Willoughby of Supply, NC and Michael Randolph Willoughby and wife, Mary Katherine of Fairmont, NC; three daughters, Debra Blanchard and husband, James of Greenville, NC, Anita Willoughby of Fayetteville, NC and Marie W. Wright of Hope Mills, NC; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00PM at Broadridge Baptist Church with Rev W.C. Baxley and Rev. Doug Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
