Mrs. Eccie Faye Phillips, age 77, passed away peacefully at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC on Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 28, 1943 to the late Eccie and the late Dorothy Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rabon T. Tyner who passed on January 26, 1985; her husband, Gerald Douglas Phillips, Sr., and her son, Jerry Phillips.

She is survived by her three daughters: Brenda Shaw McLean (Scott), Andrea Shaw Pait (Mike), and Missy Phillips; five grandchildren: Shannon McLean, Randal McLean, Candace Morales (Lorenzo), Michael Pait II, and Cody Phillips; three great-grandchildren: Bailee Luper, Scottie Luper, and Joseph Morales; three siblings: Bill Anderson (Libby), Patty White (Richard), and Mike Anderson (Kimberly); and many loving nieces and nephews, dear friends and church family in Crystal River, FL, close church friends from West Lumberton Baptist Church, and a special friend, Ray Evans.

Faye was a devout Christian woman who devoted her life to the church and helping others in her community. Some of her many talents included painting, wood carving, and jewelry making.  She could often be seen with a smile on her face and a paintbrush in her hand.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from12:30-2:00 PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
