Ms. Evie Hunt age 83 of 2011 Stone Rd. Fairmont passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 3PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Hilton Woodell, Bishop Kenny Mitchell, and Rev. Timmy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 7-9pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was born February 28, 1931 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Hunt and Ora Britt Hunt; and her son, Hal March Hunt. She is survived by two sons, William Benton Hunt Jr. of the home and Bryan Keith Hunt of Lumberton; five daughters, Marie Carol Hunt of Pembroke, Connie Lee Ransom and husband Jack of Lumberton, Gloria Ann Hunt and husband Olin of Rowland, Wilhemia Hunt of Marion, SC, and Teresa J Hunt Wilkes and husband Wayne of Fairmont; one sister, Vera Hite of Henrico, VA; seventeen grandchildren, twenty nine greatgrandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
