Evelyn Adams Wilson, 75, of 375 Arlington Road, died Thursday, June 5,
2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late David and
Mary McGill Adams on May 22, 1933 in Cumberland County, NC.
She is survived by her husband, W. Baker Wilson of the home; 2 sons, Billy
Wilson and wife, Gay of Lumberton and Craig Wilson and wife, Connie of Rocky
Mount, NC; 1 daughter, Ann Wilson Sessoms and husband, Howard of Tar Heel; 1
sister, Frances A. Melvin of Fayetteville; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great
grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Tar Heel Baptist Church
at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Rollyson and Rev. Trent Sessoms officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
