Evelyn Kobcsenski Sandlin, age 85, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Wallington, NJ on September 12, 1924 to the late Philip, Sr. and Elizabeth Gall Kobcsenski. She married the late Joseph Sandlin on May 11, 1946 and they celebrated recently their 62 years together.

She is survied by a daughter, Joan Sandlin Bowen and her husband, Woodberry of Lumberton, NC; grandaughter, Holly Bowen Bullman and her husband Corey of Asheville, NC; her grandson Davis Lennon Bowen and his special friend Ping Dai of Chapel Hill, NC; her brother, Ken Kobcsendki and his wife Gladys of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; her brother Philip Kobcsenski, Jr. of Wallington, NJ; and her sister Kathleen K. Stach and her husband Joseph of Haddonfield, NJ.

A family Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:30 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton,

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feberuay 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton with Dr. Matt Rich officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday evening, February 12, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5t Street in Lumberton.
