Evelyn Patricia ??Pat? Powers, age 56, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. She was born in Robeson County on June 14, 1954 to the late Charles Dixon Powers and Mollie Ingram Powers. She previously worked as a Nursing Assistant at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

She is survived by a brother, Jimmy Dixon Powers and wife, Mitzi of Lumberton; two sisters, Sharon Powers Cain and husband, Wayne of Lumberton and Dianne Powers Neese and husband, John, also of Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:00PM at Zion??s Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Eric Cain and Rev. Bob Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
