Evelyn Hallie Floyd, age 82, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Heritage Care of Conover. Evelyn was born in Robeson County on July 12, 1942 to the late G. R. Floyd, Sr., and Hallie Spivey Floyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Sybil Lewis, Margarite Floyd, Vivian Stone, Grace Leggett, and Gwendolyn Hollar; and brothers; G.R. Floyd, Jr, James William Floyd, and Erskin Ellis Floyd.

Evelyn loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus and sharing the Word of God.

Evelyn is survived by her sister Carolyn Byrd and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn's family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Care of Conover for the many years of care they provided for Evelyn.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery, Fairmont, NC.
