Eva Davis Russ, age 88, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born October 16, 1929 in Bladen County to the late Carlie Davis and the late Lela Dowless Davis. Eva was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Ronald "Zane" Russ and Manley Gerald Russ; two daughters: Wanda Russ and Marilyn Sue Russ; several brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by one son, Donald L. "Buck" Russ (Debra) of Tabor City; four daughters: Janice Britt (Elton) of Fairmont, Linda Martin of Raleigh, Doretha Powell (John) of Fairmont, and JoAnn McLamb (Ricky) of Lumberton; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, David Davis (Brenda) of Dublin.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
