Eula Mae Britt, age 88, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 27, 1927 to the late Gussie and Berta Cox Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edison Britt; sons, Eugene Britt and Edison Britt, Jr.; and a sister, Pauline Williamson. Mrs. Britt is survived by a son Gary Britt of Lumberton; daughters, Susie Batten and Linda Arrington (Charles), all of Lumberton; a sister, Oneal Downing of Monroe; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Britt Family Cemetery with Rev. James Graham officiating. A time of visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
