Eugene Talton, age 70, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, March 30, 2018 at home after an extended illness in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 1, 1947 to the late Calvin Talton and the late Irene Gibson Grice.  He was self-employed.

Mr. Talton was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra Holmes Talton of the home; a daughter, Dawn Bass of Lumberton; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery with Rev. Tim Little.  A time of visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
