Mr. Eugene Carroll Emanuel, 55, born October 5, 1959, a loving husband, father and grandfather, departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2015, at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Avis Ball Emanuel; his brother, Ertle B Emanuel; his grandparents: Harold and Mary Ball and Sam and Noone Emanuel; and his mother-in law, Mrs. Lorine Kerns Peagler. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Kerns Cemetery, on Barker Ten Mile Road, Lumberton, NC. Mr. Emanuel is survived by his wife of 35 years Mrs. Tina Peagler Emanuel; a son Mr. Zachary Lee Emanuel (Leslie) and one grandchild Zoey Olympia Emanuel of Fayetteville, NC, a sister-in-law Ms. Kathy Peagler Reimer of Lumberton, NC; his father JN "Ertle" Emanuel (Rose) of Lumberton, NC; and one brother Teyko Ray Emanuel of Whiteville, NC ;a host of aunts and uncles; Helen Ball Kerns, Rosalee Ball, Mike Ball, Fred Ball, Louis Ball, Harold Ball Jr., Sterling Ball, Ray Ball and Howard Ball, Lillian Hammonds, Faye Hammonds, Scarlet Thomas, Glois Butler, Deneill Emanuel, Ipana Lamb, Debbie Emanuel, John Emanuel, Jr. Emanuel, Carvey Emanuel, Eugene Emanuel, Gelyne Emanuel, and Billy Emanuel. Mr. Emanuel also leaves to cherish his memories his nieces and nephews, friends, relatives and a very special friend "Spike Lee Emanuel".
