Esther Ivey Kinlaw, age 74, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 14, 1941 to the late Luther and Elizabeth Boone Ivey. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Juneious Kinlaw; a son, Chad Kinlaw; and two brothers, Calvin Ivey and Winston Ivey. Mrs. Kinlaw is survived by a daughter, Melissa Packer (Dennis) of Lumberton; brothers, Harris Ivey (Carolyn) and Victor Ivey (Brenda) both of Lumberton; a sister, Margie Warwick (Mike) of Lumberton; sisters-in-law, Mavis Ivey and Shirley Ivey; and two grandchildren, Dustin Packer and Lukas Packer; a host of special nieces and nephews; and the staff of Woodhaven Nursing and Alzheimer's Care Center whom she loved dearly. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton with Rev. Jimmy Dale and Rev. Mike Warwick officiating. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, July, 23, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery.
