Esther Lee Hardee Gore, 85, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lumberton, the Lady Lions Club and a member of the Eastern Star.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Lumberton with Dr. David Elks and Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Gore.

Mrs. Gore is survived by her husband, Hubert Gore of the home; two sons, Gearl Gore and wife, Linda of Jupiter Beach, FL and their children, Bob Weible and Richard Gore; Larry Gore of White Lake, NC and his children, Rachel Gore and John Rogers; Misty Gore, wife of the late Glenn Gore, of Charlotte, NC and their children, Anne Noel Davis, Esther Joy Gore, Hannah Grace Gore, Gabriel Gore, Israel Gore and Singer Gore; and a daughter, Leisa Gore Dowless and husband, Danny of Dublin, NC and their children, Aaron Howd, Austin Howd, Luke Dowless, Danielle Dowless and Colton Dowless; one sister, Juanita Page of Virginia Beach, VA; one great-grandson, Nicholas Davis.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
