Ernestine Randall, 74 formerly of Fairmont died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Novant Hospital, Huntersville, NC.  She was born on January 8, 1943.  She was a homemaker.  Later, she worked for the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office in the Finance Department until she retired in March 2007

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmount, NC on Wednesday, May 10, 2017; the funeral will follow immediately after the visitation at 2:00pm at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rayford Randall, Cincinnati, OH; parents John C. Hunt and Allie L. Hunt of Fairmont, NC; a grandmother, Sarah E. Locklear of Lumberton, NC; a sister Mary Etta Brayboy of Pembroke, NC.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy R. Hawes and husband Gregory L. Hawes of Concord, NC; a son, Donald J. Wise of Locust, NC; a sister Vina L. Hunt of Fairmont, NC: a brother, Chad H. Hunt and wife Judi Hunt of Waxhaw, NC; grandson Noah L. Hawes of Concord, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
