Mrs. Ernestine Florence Lamb Greene, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on December 18, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Greene. She leaves to cherish her memories with four sons, Jimmy Green and wife, Pam of Lumberton; Michael Green and wife, Tonya of Lumberton, David "Bo" Green of Myrtle Beach, SC and Christopher Greene and wife, Heather of Charlotte; one daughter, Teena Rose Green, of the home; seven sisters, Vivian Greenwood, Carol Spencer, Rachel Brisson and Edna Benton, all of Lumberton, Dorothy Simmons of High Point, Ruby Davis of Greensboro and Martha McFarland of Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at East Lumberton Chruch of God from 7:00-9:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at East Lumberton Church of God at 2:00PM with Rev. Bruce Brumfield and Pastor L.F. Hatchell officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
