Ernest Lee Taylor, age 47, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Wade, NC.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 24, 1969 to the late Alex and Pauline Watts Taylor, Jr.  He was a truck driver for Summit Logging Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ronnie Earl Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Shirley Robinson Taylor of the home; a son, Alex Evander Taylor of Lumberton; daughters, Victoria Rose Jackson and husband, Andrew and Sarah Jane Britt and friend, Tollie all of Lumberton; brother, Stacy Ray Taylor and wife, Susan of Lumberton; sisters, Brenda Tyson and husband, Ray, Sharon Williford and husband, Larry, and Joanne Phillips and fiancé, Roy all of Lumberton; and one grandchild, Maria Ann Locklear.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Bladenboro Church of God.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Bladenboro Church of God with Rev. Oneil Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
