Eric Gibson, age 52, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. He was born on January 4, 1972 in Chatom, AL. He worked as a mobile home mover. In his spare time, he loved to watch racing and spending time with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William & Joyce Gibson, and his maternal grandparents, J.L. & Pearlene Harrington.

He is survived by his parents, Norris & Dorothy Gibson; his daughter, Taylor Gibson of St. Pauls, NC; his brothers, Randy Gibson of Fairmont, NC and Chris Gibson and wife Donna of Lumberton, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Ryan, Tyler, Zack, Jordan, and Chelsey.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kenneth Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
