Emma Lou Turner, age 76, of Lumberton, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1949 to Earl and Ila Mae Thompkins in Robeson County, NC.

Along with her parent, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Turner.

She is survived by her son Owen Turner (April), of Wilmington, NC; two daughters, Candy Marshall (Robert) of LaPorte TX, and Laura Peterson (Steven), of North SC; one sister Donna Waddell (Joseph Mack) of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren, Jordan, Michael, Bryan, and Caison; and one great grandchild Gavin.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory. There will be a graveside service to follow on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Gardens of Faith at 1:00pm
