Emma Locklear Revels, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018. She was born October 31, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Trussie Locklear and the late Dessie Freeman Locklear.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Revels; one daughter, Tammy Locklear; one son, Danny Locklear; and four brothers: George Locklear, Rogers Locklear, Harry Locklear, and Gene Locklear.

She is survived by three daughters: Carol Locklear (Bobby), Teresa Locklear (Ricky), and Velma Locklear, all of Lumberton; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Recie Lewis of Fairmont and Minnie Pearl Hunt of Lumberton; and one brother, Truman Locklear (Barbara) of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 24, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Mount Hebron Church in Maxton with Pastor Tracy Locklear and Pastor Jerry Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
