Mrs. Emily Miller Taylor, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 31, 1941 to the late Henslee Miller and the late Leon Ivey Miller. She retired after many years with Robeson County Department of Social Services.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Taylor; a brother, Billy Miller; and two sisters, Dorothy Stone and Betty Speights.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean Marie Taylor (Don) of Lumberton, NC and Mary Sealey (Richard Phillips) of Gibsonville, NC; three grandchildren: Derek Thomas Taylor (Alana Baxley), Andrew Felton Sealey, and Noah Henslee Sealey; and one brother, Edwin Miller of Swansea, SC.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at Taylor Family Cemetery with Rev. Tony Stevens.
