Ms. Elveta Lewis Hardin, age 90, of Fairmont passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton. A Graveside service will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00AM in Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the home. Ms. Hardin was born May 2, 1925 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Worth Ellis Lewis and Vera Parker Lewis; her husband, Ray Hardin; and a son, Ray L. "Shorty" Hardin. Ms. Hardin is survived by two daughters, Betty Pittman (Jimmy) of Fairmont and Susan Barnes (Sammy) of Orrum; five grandchildren, Matt Pittman (Resa), Marcia Blackwell (fiancé, Heath), Janna Edwards (Erik), Jonathan Barnes and Hope Parker (Joey); five great-grandchildren, Zach Pittman, Makenzi Blackwell, Noah Parker, John Peyton Edwards, and Samuel Edwards.
