Mrs. Elsie Sue Odom Leggett, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 24, 1943 to the late Claude Odom and the late Loleta Edwards Boney.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Alex Leggett.

She is survived by her children, Greg Leggett and wife Julie of Lumberton, NC and Elaine Leggett of Wilmington, NC, and two grandchildren, Brandon Leggett and wife Paula of Lumberton, NC and Brittney Leggett of Cary, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Joe Bounds and Rev. David Anderson officiating. Following the service, the family will visit with friends and loved ones at the graveside.
