Elliott Eugene Davis, Sr., age 61, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on November 15, 1948 to Dewey and Susan Britt Davis. He previously was a pipe insulator.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Davis is survived by his lifetime partner, Hazel Perritt of the home; two sons, Elliott E. Davis, Jr. of Fairmont, NC and Jimmy Reynolds of Richlands, NC; one daughter, Rosie Townsend of Lumberton, NC; three step-daughters, Gail Lennon and husband Charles of Whiteville, NC, Betty Kinlaw and husband, Keith of Lumberton, NC and Shirley Reynolds of Fairmont, NC; one brother, Dewey Davis, Jr. of Proctorville, NC; four sisters, Hazel Britt, Ruth Britt and Louise Lovette all of Lumberton, NC and Kathleen Long of Ash, NC; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Randy Revels officiating. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery in Orrum, NC.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, March 21, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
