Ellen Kay Lewis Bass, age 64, of Fairmont passed away Friday, September 25, 2020.

Mrs. Bass was born February 23, 1956 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowland Lewis and Maggie Reynolds Lewis; her first husband, Eddie Carl Smith; a son, Eddie Carl Smith, Jr.; two brothers, Bishop Tommy Lewis and Jerry Lewis.

Mrs. Bass was co-owner of Bass Auto Parts.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Bass of the home; two sons, Paul Bass (Hollie) of Lumberton and David Bass of Fairmont; three daughters, Angela Baxley (Bill) of Lumberton, Laura Gonzalez (Gary) of Jamestown and Jenny McGee (Bobby) of Fairmont; two brothers, Larry Lewis and Terry Lewis both of Lumberton; one sister, Faye Benton of Lumberton; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 3pm at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.

The family will visit with friends following the service at the graveside.
