Ella Ivey Powers, 84, of 2099 Barker Church Road, died Wednesday,
September 17, 2008 at Southeastern Hospice House. She was born to the late
David and Ella Kinlaw Ivey on April 29, 1924 in Robeson County.
She is survived by two sons, John Powers and wife, Margaret and Glenn
Powers both of Lumberton; two daughters, Joyce Wellington and husband, Tommy
and Gail Prescott both of Lumberton; and four grandchildren, Johnny Powers,
Bobbie Powers, Keith Powers and Michael Prescott.
The graveside service will be Friday, September 19, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Ten
Mile Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Michael Arnette officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m.
at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
