Ella Frances Beaney Speights, 68, of 53 Macon Street, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Southeastern Hospice House. He was born to the late Wilbur and Mable Jackson Beaney on October 9, 1939 in Bladen County.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin \\"Skinny\\" Speights of the home; 2 daughters, Paula Benton of Statesville, NC and Wanda Bullard of Orrum, NC; her brother, Junior Beaney of Hope Mills, NC; 5 sisters, Shirley Jackson of St. Pauls, Sue Owens of St. Pauls, Marilyn Blackburn of St. Pauls, Barbara Willoughby of Lumberton and Betty Hinson of Sanford, NC; and 4 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Godwin Heights Baptist Church with Rev. David Hollaway officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 30, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
