Elizabeth Ann McLean Jernigan, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. She was born in Hope Mills, NC on August 14, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny McLean and Eula Mae McLean.

She is survived by her husband Archie Jernigan of the home; one son Christopher "Chris" Jernigan and wife Laura of Whiteville, NC; two daughters, Angela J. Yankasky and husband Art of Elizabethtown, NC and Alyssa Jernigan of the home; two brothers, Larry Smith and Lee Smith, both of PA; three sisters; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will take place Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
