Ms. Elizabeth Kellen Byrd, 29, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Richland County, SC on March 19, 1993. Elizabeth graduated from Lumberton High School in 2011 and also received her CNA certification.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas H. "Hal" Byrd II, and her paternal grandfather, Thomas "Tommy" H. Byrd.

She is survived by her mother, Jane W. Jernigan (Clay); her brother, Thomas Braddock Byrd (Holly); her paternal grandmother, Kellen T. Byrd; her aunts, Laura Lee Ward and Rosemarie Byrd; and a special niece, Lily Kate Byrd.

A private family graveside service will be held.
