Elizabeth Saloame Atkinson Price, 83, of 990 Wesley Pines Road, died Tuesday, July
1, 2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late Joseph and
Norna Atkinson on December 16, 1924 in Harnett County.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Norwood Price; and 2 brothers,
William A. Atkinson and Muriel Atkinson.
She is survived by her son, Joe Alton Price and wife, Laurie Hall of Wilmington; 2
daughters, Flo Smith and husband, Kenny of Middletown, Maryland and Beth Price of
Whispering Pines, NC; sister-in-law, Viola Atkinson of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren,
Seamus Price, Amanda Price, Kenneth Smith, Catherine Molineu and husband, Richard;
5 great grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Alexis, Andrew and Emily; and a host of family
and friends.
The funeral service will be Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Floyd Memorial
Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 4, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
