Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Kitty" Freeman Collins, 74, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 25, 1947 to the late John Abner Freeman and the late Doris Ivey Freeman. She was a substitute teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Stone and husband Ray.

She is survived by her husband, James Albert Collins of the home; a son, Kyle Collins of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Kristie Martin and husband Wayne and Erin Saunders and husband Adam, all of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren: Matthew, Leighann, Maddox, and Adalyn; a brother, John Freeman and wife Theresa of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Dana Kuster and husband Steve of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 11:00AM – 12:00 PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Orrum, NC.
