Elise Bullock Grimsley, age 84, of Bladenboro, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at West Bladen Assisted Living Center in Bladenboro. She was born in Robeson County on February 12, 1928 to the late Rochelle Bullock and the late Dullah Anderson Bullock.

She was married to the late Oscar Grimsley, of Fairmont, and they were both devoted members of Hyde Park Baptist Church.

Mrs. Grimsley is survived by three sons, John Grimsley of Lumberton, Bill Grimsley of Kennesaw, GA and Oscar Grimsley, Jr. of Lumberton; four daughters, Betty Ingbretson of Lansing, IL, Linda Byrd of Lumberton, Peggy Sasser of Fayetteville, and Carol Cook of Cartersville, GA; one brother, Lester Bullock of Arabia, NC; six sisters, Virginia Britt of Lumberton, Carmelita Barnes of Orrum, Katie Rich of Red Springs, Phyllis Allen of Lumberton, Linda Faye Roper of Prescott, AZ and Bernice Sanderson of Raeford; sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday evening, November 16, 2012 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
