Edward Lee Solsky, age 79, of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Bolt, WV on April 3, 1933 to the late John Solsky and the late Helen Legurski Solsky. He was a veteran having served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army.

Mr. Solsky is survived by his wife, Janice Bailey Solsky of the home; a son, Tony Lee Solsky and wife Joy of Lumberton; two daughters, Belinda Keating and husband Austin and Angie Smith and husband Rodney all of Lumberton; a sister, Dorothy Richardson and husband Kenneth of Bolt, WV; four grandchildren, Erin Solsky Payne, A.J. Keating, Leann Solsky Gibson and Kyle Keating; and great-grandchildren, Gauge Payne, Luke Gibson, Jakob Gibson, Wyatt Hester and Payton Keating.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Visitation will be anytime at the home and following the graveside service at the cemetery.
